Recipe: Egg Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce

Today I'm gonna show you yet another super easy comfort food that I like to make. It's Egg Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce and until I never get bored with this one. It's fast and easy to make and didn't take a lot of time to prep either. The ingredients are easy to find unlike my previous kare raisu where the kare itself is sometimes a bit hard to find. So let's get cooking!!!

Ingredients:
Egg Tofu
Minced Beef
1/4 Onion

Seasoning:
Pepper
Teriyaki Sauce
Olive Oil

1. Heat oil. I use olive oil but other kinds of oil like palm oil, grape seed oil or canola oil can be use.

2. Add about 1/4 sliced onion and saute until it becomes transparant.

3. Add a pack of sliced egg tofu. I put tofu first before minced beef because I want the tofu to be not too soft.

4. I add sambal or my basic chili seasoning. If you haven't made one before it's basically a processed chili/cayenne pepper, garlic, shallot and salt so if you want to add them just add chili, garlic, shallot and salt to the pan. I think it's about 2-3 chili, 1 garlic, 1 shallot and 1/2 tsp of salt. If you don't like spicy food just skip the chili.

 5. Add minced beef and cook until it changes color. I don't know how much exactly but I scoop about 2 tbsp of it from the fridge #LOL.

5. Add Teriyaki Sauce and Pepper and don't forget that it's better to add little by little seasoning and most and foremost taste your cooking!! I use Saori Teriyaki Sauce but any brand is fine though.

Enjoy your Egg Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce! It's taste better if you eat it with rice.

Note: The recipe serve for 2 people.
