I never use The Body Shop Shower Gel before because I thought it was kinda expensive for a shower gel but when I saw this super big size shower gel and a 50% discount (I think) I decided to take the plunge on The Body Shop Shower Gel. I got the Olive kind because I fell in love with the scent and thought that it would be a great morning mood booster.
Packed with skin-softening oleic acid, olive oil has been used for centuries throughout the Mediterranean as a moisturizer. Legend has that athletes in ancient Greece would rub olive oil onto their bodies. Packaging:
The one that I got is the one in this huge 750ml pump bottle. Even a 500ml shower gel last really really long so I'll bet this one gonna last for quite some time. The bottle is quite sturdy too because it fell some time ago from quite a distance and it didn't broke. I mention it because I bought a cleanser last month and it's in a plastic pump bottle too but when it fell the bottle is broken and the product inside leaks everywhere!!
The Gel:
The gel has olive green in color (D'uh) and the consistency isn't too thick nor runny. It is best used with The Bath Shop Bath Lily to make a nice foam and make the bathroom smells nice and fresh too. At first I thought it would smells weird but the scent is so lovely and fresh! Perfect for a morning mood booster! It lathers nicely without making my skin feels too slippery and it doesn't makes my skin dry too. Even though the scent is really good it doesn't last long but I can use other Olive Series to prolong the scent. I'm eyeing the body mist now.
